Freedom and Glory

It seems like it was just yesterday, but in actuality, it was a few decades ago, when I placed my hand over my heart to “Pledge Allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America” as I became a naturalized U.S. citizen. I have to tell you, it was one of the proudest moments of my life.

To this date, I still evoke that moment, and the feelings of pride that come with it as an “inspiration” to my daily dealings. It is amazing what a whole bunch of Pride can do for you, and for those around you.

As we celebrate Independence Day in the United States, I want you to use this special day, in the midst of BBQs, Block Parties, and Fireworks, to “Pause, Enjoy, Celebrate!”

Think of the Freedom that “We, the People”, are afforded every day, and what all happened to take us to where we are today, and take a moment to thank those that deserve our deepest gratitude, as if not for them and the decisons and sacrifices they made, the outcome would have been very different and so would our lives today.

So no matter where in the world you are and join the celebration for the Freedom of our Country, think of those who made it happen for us, and to so many that still continue to protect our freedom and state of democracy.

We have you in our thoughts, our hearts, our prayers, and give you gratitude and respect.

Thank you for reading this far, it tells me that your heart is full of pride and joy for the true and full meaning of “Independence Day”!
