“A Christmas Note”

As we close 2005, I do want to directly mention a few people that have had quite a bit to do with my comings and goings during this fabulous year.

Inasmuch as I’ve been coaching medical professionals and small business owners alike since 1983, I officially opened my new Coaching business venture, Vision For Success, on March 23rd of this year, with a grand opening celebration at one of our local restaurants, Frappes-North, in the fabulous city of Ormond Beach, Florida, where I reside.

My business coach, Karyn Greenstreet of Pennsylvania was a pivotal point in my career. She’s been coaching me since November 2004, and it was her faith in me and clear intention to help me ride the big wave, that gave me the clarity to figure out what I really wanted to do, and find the passion to forge ahead with my vision. Mind you, in late January 2005, Karyn flew all the way from Pennsylvania to Ormond Beach, for a one-on-one, full day intensive, Integrated Marketing Plan and Business Session. Karyn gave me her undivided attention as she wanted to make sure I’d be on my path to success and well prepared before my grand opening. Needless to say, “she did good” as here I am, and she’s still my business coach! (We all need one, you know) Thank you Karyn!

As I was putting together my grand opening celebration, Heather Goins came into my life. She managed to handle my big event with impeccable timing, including all of the invitations, restaurant arrangements, wine goblets, guests, music, flowers, fountain, you name it, Heather did it all! …and for that Heather, I thank you.

Then came opening night, and won’t you know it, the mayor of our city, Fred Costello, was kind enough to make the introduction. I’ve known him for ten years, but this was very special, as he went out of his way to be there for me that night and support me in my new endeavor, even though, he had a ride to catch to leave for North Carolina early in the morning. What great support and validation. Thank You Mayor Costello.

There were many people who supported me with complete faith in my ability to attain what I was determined to accomplish and succeed. My good friends Andy & Veronika from San Francisco who continually encouraged me with good sound advice as did my friend Peter from Australia…And my dear friend Bonnie, who was as supportive as a sister could have been…as were Maggie and Aurora.

But above all, there are two people, very close to my heart who also wanted to see me win. My sister Luz who told me: “Go get ’em, Sis” and “I expect nothing but the best from you”! and my 95 year old Aunt Rosa, who clearly understood my business plan, thought my marketing branding was amazing and reminded me of all the “right” things I’ve accomplished so far, and how others have benefited. What a “kicker!

I also want to thank those who “doubted,” as it was through their determination in deterring me from my calling that added fuel to my passion and validated what I already knew.

In review, 2005 has proven to be a fabulous year for me as I wish it has been for you.

All I can say, from my Heart to Yours:

THANK YOU!!!
